HBA of Northwest Connecticut co-hosts Legislative Night for Legislators from Northwest Connecticut

Groundbreaking held for the Green House on November 1, 2007

The HBA of Northwest Connecticut is pleased to partner with the Litchfield County Board of Realtors in presenting the "Green House".  This home is being built at 96 Tognalli Drive (lot #14) in Torrington and will showcase environmentally friendly construction. The Green House is being constructed using green guidelines developed by the National Association of Home Builders Research Center Tognalli Drive is a new cul-de-sac off Clearview Avenue.  Click here to get directions.  An article about the groundbreaking appeared on the front page of the Register-Citizen newspaper. HBA members meet with U.S. Congressman Christopher Murphy

On April 4, 2007 members of the HBA of Northwest Connecticut went to a construction site with U.S. Congressman Christopher Murphy and then met with him at the HBA office to discuss housing issues.  The meeting with Murphy was featured in the National Association of Home Builders Washington Update.
